okay i have this vessel that has surfaces so you can see it under my skin.its on my nose. i went to the dermatologist and he said you have to use an electircal shock to get rid of it... anyone had that happened? does it hurt and did it leave your skin burnt and your skin worse or what? id there another way to get rid of the vessel ? like can it eventually go back to whre it was before?

yeah i know exactly what your talking about. about a year ago i got one on the front of my nose. I freaked and went to the skin doc.. and yes the old electric shock lol it only hurts for a minute and it kinda makes a loud sound. just laugh it off afterwards. its well worth it because it strarts looking better almost instently

it did'nt really hurt that much its just more scary because of the loud electric snap sound.. it heals quickly. im sure its differnt for some people but after about a month you could not even notice it was there. and its reall not that bad right after. just let it scab and fall off on its own Report It
Reply:Those are all valid questions and ones that you should make sure that your dermatologist answers for you before you consent to the procedure.
Often a local anesthetic is applied first to numb the area. Afterwards it's like you had a small burn, and if you treat it right (avoid the sun until it heals, don't pick at it, and whatever else the dermatologist recommends) it should heal up just fine.
