when does a baby or childs real skin color show? i know that when babies are born there skin color is light and then we get darker as we get older when does are real skin color show?
Skin color?
Well i am white and my husband is dark skin Puert Rican, our children tend to have the darker skin which settled at around 3 months of age.
Skin color?
Probably twelve years of age.
Reply:well your skin is always changing, so never really. There isn't a "real" skin colour. That totally depends on lifestyle and sun exposure
Reply:in the age of adult
Reply:I dont know, we're really fair in my family. But i would guess about the same time the baby's other hormones start kicking in, since skin color is decided by hormones. Maybe after a couple weeks or so. I know my friends who are black had beautiful chocolate babies when I saw them at a month old, same color as their parents.
Reply:from my personal experiences with my children i see around the age of 3 is when the true color is developed
