I recommend the fair to normal one. Take care though because these things can still leave streaky marks and if you are planning to put some on your face and you have open pores then the lotion gets in and makes you look like you have blackheads!! Not a good luck for anyone.

depends on how pale you are to be fair, i myself use the darker one as i have darker hair so it builds up a tan much quicker for me and as dark as a tan would be, my other half on the other hand uses the ligher one as he is VERY very white! he looks like a bottle of milk! so it would look strange if he went really dark with ginger hair !!!!
Reply:when they first came out i bought the normal to dark and was horrified with the result, now i use the fair to normal and have a nice colour to my skin. i wouldn't say i look like i've been away for two weeks but i have a nice low and the skin looks really healthy. i burn easily in the sun and am blonde so suited to the fair one. if you have olive skin then i'd go for the darker
Reply:The normal dark bit is your natural untanned skin colour. If you are pale skinned go for fair to normal. If you're not pale go for the other one
Reply:if your really pale get the light one but if you have darker more olivy kin get dark, dont get dark if yuor pale as it will leave streaks were you arms crease and they ill b noticable
Reply:I have med/pale skin and i use the fair one if it isnt dark enough just reapply again the following morning and u soon reach a shade that u lyk i have put mine on twice over two days and it luks really natural for this time of year but healthy
Reply:I am quite fair and so used the fair to normal skin however i found it made me look quite yellow rather than brown. I tried the l'oreal version (nutri-summer i think it is called) for medium skin and found it to be perfect. The colour is great, but it is also a fantastic moisturiser.

Hope you find something that works.
Reply:i'm pale with blonde hair and before my holiday i used the fair skin one it gives a lovely sun kissed look but without the orange fake tan effect
Reply:ive used both and the darker one made me go a slight orange colour. i stopped using that and used the lighter one and that gives me a much better all year round tan. may i add natral too!

go for the lighter one if u dont want to look orange.
